-
How much does it cost?A MySkinDoc Video Consultation costs £120 and our Digital Diagnosis costs £75 per consultation.
-
What happens after I submit my Digital Diagnosis consultation questionnaire?Once we receive your completed questionnaire, one of our specialists will assess the information and the pictures you have provided for us. They will then fill out a medical report which you will receive as a PDF via email. You can then take this to your own GP who should be able to prescribe you with any prescription medications that have been recommended for you. Alternatively we can provide you with a private prescription which can be requested separately via e-mail. There is no extra charge for this, however the chemist dispensing the drug will advise you of costs of the medication.
-
What kind of pictures should I take for my Digital Diagnosis?A mixture of close up pictures and a few further away is usually best. Smartphones can take some amazing pictures these days and it's pretty straightforward. Make sure you get clear pictures by pressing the focus button before you take the picture. Good lighting is crucial to taking a good picture too. We find it's best to take it in daylight, near a window or even outside if you feel comfortable doing this. Obviously that would not be suitable to do in all cases! It can also be easier to ask someone else to take the pictures for you if you feel comfortable with this.
-
Are you able to provide me with a prescription after my consultation? We can provide a private prescription electronically which can be delivered to you or the prescription can be taken to any chemist. Please note we are not responsible for the cost of purchasing the medications after the prescription has been issued.
-
Is my information and pictures secure?Yes. Our website is fully encrypted and secure. The service is both GDPR and HIPAA compliant. Information is only accessed by our DBS checked clinicians and admin staff. Your information will not be shared without your prior permission.
